FAWER Automotive Parts Limited Company is a Chinese automotive parts supplier on its way to becoming a global supplier. The listed group was founded in 1998. Its main product areas are chassis systems, thermal systems, braking and transmission systems, steering and safety systems, fastening, electronic and electrical systems, and engine accessories. Strategically, the company focuses on lightweight construction, electrification and artificial intelligence. The group is headquartered in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province in northeastern China.

The company has about 9,000 employees and 2019 consolidated sales of 1.2 billion euros. The FAWER Group has 36 subsidiaries, including 15 wholly owned subsidiaries and 21 joint ventures. It has 56 production sites and 14 R&D centers in China. The group also has operations in Europe and the U.S. and is currently establishing production sites in Mexico and Russia. The company has strategic partnerships with more than 40 OEMs from Germany, USA, France, Korea, Japan and China. FAWER Fastening Systems Business Unit

The FAWER Group has a total of seven main strategic segments. One of these business segments is fastening systems, to which ABC Umformtechnik belongs. The FAWER subsidiary for fastening systems was founded in 1956 in the city of Jilin. It has more than 65 years of experience in the manufacture of automotive fastening systems. The site has a total area of 153,700 square meters and an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons. The workforce comprises around 1,100 employees. The core team for R&D, production, quality and branding of fasteners comprises 171 employees and is expected to grow to 300 people in the next few years. The company has been an A-rated supplier of FAW-VW and a core supplier of Foton Daimler as well as renowned Chinese manufacturers FAW and Great Wall for many years.
